Edinburgh Waverley Train Station
Edinburgh’s main rail station, and one of the UK’s most beautiful stations, linking Edinburgh to the rest of the United Kingdom. The station is located right in the heart of the city, and just a few minutes’ walk from The Glasshouse.

Tram
Edinburgh trams offer a direct link from Edinburgh Airport to York Place, which is conveniently located opposite the hotel. The journey last approximately 40 minutes, and costs £6. The Tram also creates a stress-free option for sports lovers to Murrayfield.

Lothian Buses operate many routes around Edinburgh, the hop on hop off service is the most cost-effective way for visitors to see Edinburgh, with most journeys just £1.70, or unlimited full-day travel for just £4.

Take a tram from York Place, situated across the road from the hotel, or alternatively our concierge team can assist you booking a taxi or private car. Depending on traffic, a car or taxi will take approximately 30 minutes, and cost on average £25 per journey. Please note, executive cars will cost more.
